Kelly graduated from The University of Chichester in 2012 with a degree in Sports Therapy. She has worked with many sports including Rugby, Football, Running, Cycling, Martial Arts and various charity events, as well as being clinic based.
Currently alongside the Rutledge Sports Therapy clinic, Kelly also works with a professional football academy and with an Evo-Stik Southern Premier club. Within these roles she oversees injury prevention, treatment and the rehabilitation of players. This involves working with ages ranging from 8 years old upwards, in a footballing environment.
Kelly also had the opportunity to join the Benali Big Run team in August - September 2014, as the medical cover for the 21 day, 1000 mile endurance running event. Where she over saw Francis’ medical and injury requirements and aided with his nutritional needs. This involved treatment prior to his running all day, on the road cover and post running treatment. Kelly will join the support team again as Francis takes on another challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK, in October 2016.
Her day to day clinic is often filled with people from all different backgrounds, from rugby to kettlebells through to swimming, running, cycling, iron man and many other sporting and non-sporting back grounds. She has the same end goal for each and every patient - personalised effective lasting treatment, to get them back to their best.
